A Stockholm Situation

This video is a discourse in philosophical and psychological deconstructions of Western (Abrahamic) religions—primarily Christianity—framed through anthropology, the perennial philosophy, and trauma psychology.

Adolf Bastian’s anthropological moorings are central to my argument that all cultures share a universal “elementary idea” of a divine/spiritual entelechy (realization of potential), but each costumes It in local “folk ideas” or provincial concepts tied to the local societal and behavioral norms. What is a crime in one society, is encouraged by another 2,000 years later.

Western religions function as tools of dominator culture that deliberately game societies with fear, conflict, and separation illusions to create psychological dependency upon those that manufacture the leverage. This is called a Hegelian Dialectic. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are all Hegelian leveraging systems, and they prey on societal members fears and desires to separate into groups of counter-intuitive spiritual bents, “We are the chosen ones of God, and YOU are not. We are going to heaven and you guys are goin’ to hell. Our God is the right one, and yours is not” kinda nonsense. Mob or gang level of mentality, basically.

The core thesis is that Western religions—especially Christianity—are not genuine spiritual paths, but sophisticated psychological traps called egregores which leverage believers into a hallucinogenic state called Christianity, or identifying as a “saved sinner”. This positions them automatically into an “in-group” family, and everyone else outside “the family” is in the “out-group”.

This separating illusion, or what I like to call spiritual cronyism, is unapologetically programmed into the head of every convert by the converted; and so like any mind virus, it’s highly contagious and passed through family and friends. This is basic tribalism, and that low frequency, programmed approach to the world dates back to the Canaanites. This gives an idea of just how myopic and malnourishing the Christian, Islamic, and Jewish concept of God/Ultimate Reality/Lux Natura, really are.

The ultimate message in this lecture is a call to awaken: see through religious tribalism, release from manufactured fear, reclaim your truth and sovereignty, and live from an expanded perspective of love, reason, and identity, instead of closed perspectives of beliefs and conflict resolution. The goal is liberation, and personal empowerment through knowledge, courage, risk, and compassion.
