Erasing the Hard Drive

This is a special interview with may daughter, Jessica. We talk about all kinds of stuff in this video but its main concern is mind expansion. We discuss magic mushrooms and hallucinogenic plant medicines, the benefits of psilocybin for breaking ingrained thought patterns and neural pathways formed through upbringing and indoctrination. I use a forest path metaphor and explain its serotonin-mimicking physiology that clears old mental “trails” for fresh perspectives and psychological healing.

We talk about our family’s open approach to cannabis and mushroom use, the lessons learned from initial use, and how these medicines helped transition the family into peer-to-peer adult relationships — the same psychological function and development intention used in initiation rituals. We offer practical advice for beginners: nature loves courage, thorough research, starting with low or microdoses, and progressing gradually, the importance of set and setting, and overcoming fears around legality and societal conditioning indoctrinated into society.

Additional topics include common misconceptions about addiction and brain damage, plus cautions for people with severe mental health issues or those on heavy pharmaceuticals. I finish the conversation talking about escaping religious and governmental indoctrination.
